Blog post #2


Paranormal is characterized as unusual experiences that have no current scientific explanation of its existence. Dating as early as the Salem Witch Trails, what we couldn't explain was then feared. For its measurement of capability may exceed our intelligence poses a threat yo our survival. It wasn't till recent that  the unexplainable transitioned from threatening to desire able. Once our circumstances to survive we're established humans began to stride for success. Over time as our intelligence has grown       but our intrinsic desires for survival have altered to a desire for success.

In today's popular culture, the supernatural has become acceptable and desirable. All forms of entertainment is base on the mysterious supernatural. A lot of time our fascination for the unknown is driven by the motive to escape our man made  scientifically explained home to a place where your not in control. For instance, getting lost in a the television series Supernatural will do that for you. The series provides an opportunity for the viewers to be exposed to the best and worst of both worlds.


The sense of being handed directions in life to us Americans brings ease to our busy schedules and  minds. Being told our future allows u to approach life as though we are one step head of everyone else and that we are prepared. Knowing that higher powers and mysterious forces are guiding you creates a sense of insurance even if it's not reliable.
 

The strike of fear in us Americans at the mere association the supernatural symbolizes a challenge, an existence we have yet to mastery the understanding of. Our fear is an indication of the unexplainable and causes us to find answers to questions and solutions to problems to ultimately prove that we are in fact the superior species.
